How to visit the Alicante Hogueras

During the main days central Alicante gets crowded and roads are closed, so public transport is the easiest way to get around. Open any Hoguera in AliBus to see the nearest operating bus and TRAM stops in real time, along with upcoming services.

Travel by bus and TRAM

Road closures and route changes are common during the main festival days. Open a Hoguera in AliBus to locate the nearest operating stops and check upcoming services.

Mascletàs at Luceros

The competition takes place at 14:00 from 18 to 24 June in Luceros Square. Arrive early and use Luceros, Mercado or the TRAM station.

Plantà and Cremà

The main monuments are installed in the early hours of 20 June. The Monumental Firework Palm opens Cremà night at midnight between 24 and 25 June.

Getting back on Cremà night

The night of 24 to 25 June draws the biggest crowds. The TRAM usually runs extra night services on the main nights; check times and pick a stop slightly away from the centre to make the trip home easier.

Arriving from outside Alicante

The TRAM links Alicante with El Campello, La Vila Joiosa and Benidorm, while intercity routes bring visitors from across the province. Check your home stop in AliBus before you set off.

Following the Flower Offering

The parades on 21 and 22 June cross the city centre to the Concatedral de San Nicolás. The Luceros, Mercado and Rambla stops are among the handiest for joining the route.
